Pumpkin Science

This week the preschoolers at Kids Kare Schools started investigating the pumpkin. The first steps were observing the big vegetable, knocking on its shell and reflecting upon the sounds; talking about the color and the scent and holding different pumpkins comparing how heavy they feel. Today the children also had a chance to measure the big orange pumpkin and to trace it over their papers. In their papers, the young authors  “wrote” a story about their pumpkins. Tomorrow the studies will continue. Stay tune…
