Our most favorite science experiment includes butterflies. After reading one of our favorite books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, we are now observing and watching some butterflies of our own. Understanding the stages of their lives from the larva stage to breaking out of their cocoon has been an experience for all of us. Every day, we would grab our magnifying glasses and observe and note the changes each day. Now that they have emerged from their cocoon into some beautiful butterflies we finally, get to take a field trip to the park and release these butterflies. Being able to see them fly away is definitely a sight to see.
