The preschool children started a spectacular field trip today called "Bird Buddies" at the San Joaquin River Parkway Center. They went on an eagle adventure, saw an eagle's nest, heard stories about baby owls, measured their wing span and had hands on experience with a real bird's nest. The children really enjoyed the skilled volunteers who shared valuable information. This educational experience will improve their knowledge of birds. All of the Kids Kare Schools will have a chance to visit this amazing place.
